Israeli Tech Company Mobileye Acquired for $15.3 Billion

Mobileye, a leader in computer vision for autonomous driving technology, was acquired by Intel for $15.3 billion – the largest acquisition of an Israeli tech company. The combination is expected to accelerate innovation for the automotive industry.

According to Intel’s press release, “This acquisition will combine the best-in-class technologies from both companies, spanning connectivity, computer vision, data center, sensor fusion, high-performance computing, localization and mapping, machine learning and artificial intelligence.”
