Description
We are looking for a Senior Global Communications Manager who is a visionary and a master storyteller on one hand, and a technology and innovation enthusiast on the other, with a proven global and local PR and communications experience.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing SNC’s content strategy, including our blog, thought leadership, social media and global PR strategy. Your goal is to help position Israel as an innovation powerhouse and Startup Nation Central as an impactful player and the gateway to Israeli innovation. You will engage with thought leaders, opinion makers, global top tier media and editors and PR agencies to advance SNC’s thought leadership agenda among decision makers via media and communication channels.
Requirements
· 3-4+ years of Communications and PR experience.
· Experience creating and executing integrated PR, communications., and social media programs globally.
· Exceptional writing, editing, messaging and storytelling skills.
· A very high level of spoken and written English - as fluent as a native.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Self-starter: highly motivated individual able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
· Team player willing to roll up sleeves to get job done.
· PR management at a High-Tech company/public sector- advantage.
· Experience working with governments and public affairs domain- advantage.
· Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Responsibilities
· Lead Global Communications and PR Strategy
Develop and execute cohesive global PR and content strategy to advance Startup Nation Central’s brand, positioning, and thought leadership in key markets.
· Oversee Content and Social Meida Planning
Design and manage integrated content plans in collaboration with internal departments, ensuring consistency across channels and alignment with organizational goals.
· Act as Organizational Spokesperson
Serve as the organization’s spokesperson when appropriate, representing SNC in global media, public forums, and strategic communications.
· Build and Manage Media Relationships
Cultivate strong relationships with top-tier global and local media, influencers, and thought leaders to drive sustained visibility and relevance.
· Leverage Industry Insights
Integrate market trends, sector insights, and strategic narratives into communications and content initiatives that reinforce SNC’s role as a prime connector and ecosystem expert.
· Reputation Management
Manage the organization’s reputation through coordinated paid, earned, and owned media efforts. Proactively address reputational risks.
· Strategic Media Initiatives
Plan and execute high-impact media engagements, such as press events, interviews, op-eds, podcasts, keynote appearances, and industry panels.
· Manage Global Teams and Partners
Lead and mentor SNC’s content creators, social media managers, and PR agencies, ensuring high-quality output and timely execution.
· Measure and Report Impact
Monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and share insights regularly to refine strategy and demonstrate impact.
· Support Strategic Collaborations
Identify and evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising that enhance visibility and support ecosystem engagement.
· Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement campaigns that elevate Israeli innovation and SNC’s unique value proposition globally.
