Health Business Development Manager

Business Development

We're looking for a Business Development Manager for our growing team. The manager will support Start-Up Nation's mission to advance Israel's innovation ecosystem. As a member of the Business Development Team, the selected candidate will generate, manage, cultivate, and analyze the organization's business relationships with potential clients, with a focus on the healthcare industry. They will also filter opportunities, manage communications, and create scalable models to improve operational procedures.

The position requires a deep understanding of SNC departments' workplans and the ability to link them to relevant opportunities. The candidate should learn about the different sectors and develop contact networks as per SNC strategy. This role involves proactively reaching out to potential prospects, managing relationships with partners and clients (across industries), and executing processes collaboratively and efficiently.

This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development.

Responsibilities

Understand and translate clients' business challenges and objectives into tangible goals.

Research companies and individuals who make decisions about engaging with innovation.

Initiate, filter, and manage relationships with clients.

Establish relationships and partnerships within the Healthcare Innovations industry.

Regularly review and analyze the status and evolution of business relations.

 Prepare reports for existing clients by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

 Develop in-depth knowledge of the Israeli tech sector and identify key figures.

Adapt and learn new methods and tools to remove unnecessary dependencies.

Analyze new developments in the sector, including products, technologies, and business models.

Speak and present before international business leaders.

Requirements


  • 3-5 - years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, Strategic Partnerships, or an equivalent business function.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Israeli innovation ecosystem.
  • Experience working with international customers.
  •  Experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Analytical and creative mindset, with a focus on strategic thinking.
  • Proven track record of defining and meeting clear business KPIs.
  • Ability to travel for conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Background in technology (advantageous).
  • English fluency, both verbal and written, is a must.
  •  Knowledge of additional languages (advantageous).
  • Excellent written, oral, and digital presentation skills, including experience speaking at international events.
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills in a matrix environment.
