We are hiring! We are looking to recruit a Director of Business Development to our growing team. The Director of Business Development will assist in SNC’s mission to advance Israel's innovation ecosystem. As a member of the Business Development Team, she/he will be responsible for generating, managing, cultivating, and leading business relationships between Start-Up Nation Central and its clients and partners. S/he will filter opportunities, manage ongoing communication, and run partnership programs.

The position requires strong collaboration with local ecosystem partners to help generate opportunities and lead relationships with SNC’s global clients. This requires a positive, extremely proactive, and collaborative approach to executing processes, keeping them documented (Salesforce) and driving their timely execution.

This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, filter and manage relationships with identified clients and ecosystem partners.
  • Quickly analyze opportunities and assess the ones that can potentially provide the most value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to help execute company goals and KPIs.
  • Research and present insights in the form of well-written reports and presentations.
  • Host C-level delegations.
  • Speak and present in front of international business and government leaders.
  • Use CRM and other platforms to document and keep track of progress and status.

Requirements

  • Min. 5 years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, Strategic Partnership, or an equivalent business function.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Israeli ecosystem of innovation, experience with international customers.
  • Analytical and creative mindset, with a focus on strategic thinking as it relates to the “big picture.”
  • Responsive, positive and ability to stick to deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executives and C-level management.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented – able to self-manage and prioritize.
  • Fluent English is a must (verbal and written).
  • Degree in Business Development, Law, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent written, oral, and digital presentation skills, including experience with speaking at international events.
