"We need to leverage this fantastic brain power that is emerging in this ecosystem in Israel"

Bernard Meunier

Nestlé’s Executive Vice President

Nestlé, the world’s largest food and beverage company, recently partnered with Start-Up Nation Central to enhance its access to the Israeli tech ecosystem. In August, Start-Up Nation Central hosted a high-level delegation of Nestlé global R&D executives, along with Osem-Nestlé management, for roundtable discussions with key ecosystem players and multinational representatives about their operating model frameworks. The delegation was able to see, feel, and taste innovative Israeli foods at the reverse pitch event and meet with leading Israeli foodtech startups.

As a result of this visit, Nestlé global and Osem-Nestlé are exploring ways to extend their innovation activities in Israel. If you’d like to learn more about Nestlé and their engagement with Start-Up Nation Central and the Israeli innovation ecosystem, check out our interview with Bernard Meunier, Nestlé’s Executive Vice President, Head of Strategic Business Units, Marketing, and Sales:
