Start-Up Nation Central Takes Israeli Innovation Global

In a small country roughly the size of New Jersey and with a population of just over 9 million people, there are more startups per capita than any other country in the world. And it’s been a great year for the startup nation.

In 2022, this translated to bringing over 1100 multinational corporations and more than 3000 Israeli startups into conversation. By facilitating these engagements, Start-Up Nation Central accelerates the spread and implementation of leading-edge technologies that are making the world better for everyone.  

Israel has a long history of investing in research and development, and it has a strong ecosystem of startups, venture capital firms, and academic institutions that support and encourage innovation. This focus has allowed Israel to become a leader in a number of areas, including verticals that have significant global applications such as climate, agriculture and food, and healthcare technology.

The startup nation also has a culture that encourages entrepreneurship and risk-taking. Mandatory military service for all citizens cultivate a sense of teamwork and camaraderie that carries into the business world. Additionally, the country’s small size and close-knit community make it easier for entrepreneurs to network and collaborate, which can be crucial for the success of a startup – but getting all the output out there requires a bit of work.
